The client requested a restful, contemplative atmosphere and the colour choice was blue, sand and white.

Creating a peaceful and light space in

a generous room that had function, proportion and scale but needed an injection of pattern, shape, line, colour and texture. This is the exciting part of interiors, as design develops when all these elements are pulled together.

Even in a peaceful and light space, sometimes a surprise or two in a room gives it vitality. I coaxed my client to take the bold step and paint one of the walls a deep blue! Lovely feature/focal point. Stunning result!
